Over a period of about 2 years I built a solid early morning routine, and I made big strides forward in my business and my personal development.
Then, over the last year, I eased up on that routine - I lowered the bar on a few of the tasks, and became more flexible about when I actually did them during the day.
The result ?
Lower performance, less focus and reduced benefits.
When it comes to morning routines it turns out that for me, the harder the work, the greater the results.
Sure I wish it was different, but wishes don’t make a better me…
