Getting Started...

It has taken me 6 hours to finally get these words on paper. I have drunk three cups of coffee, listened to four different playlists, dipped into two different books, read all of Facebook (twice), tried a small nap and read a few hundred inspiring quotes.

And the thing that finally got me started was simply getting started.

Of course I could beat myself up for wasting those 6 hours, but I see little point in that - instead I’ll choose to remember that getting started is inevitable, it’s just that some days just take longer than others…
