Helping ideas to grow...
About 30 minutes ago I had an idea for a ‘Daily Definition’ - a couple of pages at the front of your notebook that contain your current goals, plans, rules, affirmations, visualisations, intentions, etc, and which you read every morning as a way to reset your focus and make sure that you work on the right stuff today. It would work best in a discbound notebook because you can add, update and remove the pages as your goals develop and progress.
Right now it seems like a good idea, but by tomorrow I could have forgotten all about it.
We all have lots of ideas, but whether or not they develop depends on whether we take action before our initial enthusiasm has faded; do nothing and the idea will probably be lost forever, do something (write it down, articulate it, try it, etc) and it has a chance to make it through the day, do something with it tomorrow as well, and it has a shot at long-term potential…
