Lessons from the past...

I spent a 20-year corporate career doing the things in front of me, and doing the things I should do. The rewards were good, but it led me to a place I didn’t want to be - not necessarily a bad place, just not the place for me.

And so I left all of that behind and started my own business, and it has gone well, maybe better than I deep-down thought it would. But I can see a familiar path ahead, a path full of obvious things in front of me and things that I should do. The good news is that I’ve spotted it early this time, with time enough to change direction before it’s all too late.

Our past is a really great teacher, but only if we are willing to learn the lessons it has to give…
