Looking For The Positive...
For most of my corporate career I spent my time looking for the imperfections. That way, I thought, I could be prepared for when things went wrong, and solve problems faster.
The trouble is, we tend to find the thing we’re looking for.
These days, I make a conscious effort to try and look for the positive in each situation and every person, and I’m often rewarded with a new insight, an improved relationship or a valuable lesson.
