Past Experience --> New Goal
This week I have time to work on one of my long-term goals - the problem is that I’m not entirely sure where to begin.
I have a clear vision of where I want to be, and I believe I have the raw skills to (ultimately) succeed, but as for the actual steps I need to take and, specifically, how I fill that time this week, I’m not entirely sure.
So, I have decided to look back to my past at one of my previous big goals, and use that method as a way forward; it’s not entirely suitable - it’s the method I used to complete an Ironman Triathlon - but it does mean that I have a way to get started.
You see, we can wait forever for the perfect plan (or the perfect time) to appear, or we can get started as best we can and trust that we’ll pick up the skills we need along the way…
