Past & Present Me...

The differences between the me of today, and the me of yesterday are tiny. Comparing myself to the me of last week wouldn’t show much difference either. July 2024 me and July 2023 me are a bit different because my view of the future has changed a lot since then. The change in the me of today and the me of May 2014 is quite pronounced (ten years away from the corporate world will do that to a person). And, of course, you might struggle to see much in common between 50-something me and 18 year-old me.

The point is, we change over time, so if the you of today thinks you could never do that thing you dream of doing, remind the you of today about just how far you’ve already come…
