Realistic Goals...

Yesterday I did something I should have done a long time ago - I took the long-term financial target of my business and compared it to our current performance, to see if it’s actually realistic.

It wasn’t.

To be fair, it wasn’t a ridiculous difference, and now I have a much more achievable set of targets, and some things I can do if I choose to which will close the gap further.

It’s good to set ambitious goals, but unless there is at least some chance of achieving them, they can actually end up doing more harm than good….
