There are plenty of things that steal minutes from our lives. The most obvious one is the infinite scroll of social media (and yes, I get the irony :-) ), but it could be constantly checking an inbox, doing that chore without questioning whether it actually needs to be done (or whether we are the best person to do it), or any number of other little things that ‘only take a minute’….

Those minutes add up - 10 minutes a day is 60 hours a year - and while that isn’t enough time to write that best-selling book you’ve always dreamed about, it is enough time for a little quiet reflection, a few minutes reading a good book, or maybe even practicing a new skill.

We can’t get any of our stolen minutes back, but with practice we can stop them being taken in the future…
