The power of a great analogy is that it brings a vague idea or feeling into focus.
In my case, my mid-life crisis WAS because I was operating against my values, but your own frustration might have nothing to do with your work - it might be your health, your goals or something completely different.
Eventually I figured out which wall I needed to lean my ladder against, and I suspect that, deep down, you know where you need to lean yours too…
