Core Principle 13 - Because Other People Won’t

This is the Core Principle I always find the most difficult to explain, because it covers so many things.

I’m extra polite to servers in restaurants because I see too many people being rude.

I don’t believe that any job is beneath me - I’ve cleaned toilets, swept floors and removed dead birds from guttering, and every time I did it as best I could.

I’ll go for a long walk on a cold, dark, wet winter’s morning, with a smile on my face because of how few others are out too.

And I’ll stand up and take responsibility when it’s clear responsibility needs to be taken.

I don’t do these things to be different, I do them because other people won’t...
