How long will it actually take...?

Yesterday I took an hour or so to go through all of the bigger projects, tasks and improvements I have planned for 2021 - partly because I felt I needed a bit of focus, and partly because they were floating and looping around my head, and I needed to get them onto paper. One thing that struck me was that in the list of 10 big/critical things, some of them were REALLY important for the business, but the actual amount of work involved was hours rather than days.

Sometimes we put off the big things because we think that we just don’t have the time, but maybe we’d find it easier to do them if we just worked out how much time they’d actually take…
