Journaling For Clarity...
I woke up in the early hours of this morning, and before I was able to fall back to sleep, I accidentally turned on my thoughts….
Hour after hour passed; there was one central theme - which route forward for my life and my business - and like the slot-car racers of my childhood, the thoughts just whizzed around and around and around.
At 5:15am I decided that sleep was never going to return, and so I got up, made a coffee, mediated and at 5:45am I opened my journal and began writing.
By 6:30am I was done - raw, free-flowing thoughts were written, stripped of emotion, examined, and clarity was restored.
I don’t need my journal every morning, but when I do, it never seems to let me down…
