Learning from our mistakes...

As I review the past year as part of my goal-setting process for 2019, I am lucky to have a big list of mistakes to reflect on, from tiny errors of judgement, all the way up to big stupid mistakes.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to bring myself down so that I set smaller goals, in fact I’m just trying to spot the behaviours that led to my mistakes so that I can avoid them in the future.

When we refuse to learn from the things we did wrong, we are destined to make those same mistakes again and again - but when we can embrace our errors with logic and forgiveness, the lessons they reveal mean that our successes can be so much greater in the future….
