Tomorrow comes at midnight...

I built my corporate career on anticipating problems and being fully prepared for the worst - knowing how to handle, fix and steer bad situations to their best possible outcome, and using my experience to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat (or at least avoid having my backside kicked around the room…).

Even so, there were still bad days, unfixable problems, and situations where there was nothing else I could do but dig deep, and just get through it - counting the seconds, knowing that even the most difficult situation had to end at some point.

Today will be one of those days but as hard as it might be, at least I know that tomorrow comes at midnight, bringing with it a new day, and the opportunity to start again…
