What's The Reason...?

One of the roads on my daily walk has been closed for months. Except that it hasn’t.

In fact, the construction company put up the ‘Road Closed’ sign about 7 months ago, but everyone around here knows you can just drive around it and the road is as open as it always has been. I’m sure that they put up the signs for a good reason - maybe it was for ‘Health and Safety, maybe they put it up to do work that has been incredibly delayed because of Covid. But maybe they’ve just forgotten it’s there….

Maybe there was a really good reason that WE decided to do, or not do, that thing.

But maybe that reason doesn’t exist anymore, or maybe it never existed at all…
